Eve Doyle graduated with BDes (Hons) in Craft Design specialising in Metalwork & Jewellery from the National College of Art and Design (NCAD) in 2009. After graduating, Eve worked in both a contemporary jewellers studio and gallery and a traditional jewellers. During this time, it became apparent to her that she wanted to pursue a career in high-end bespoke jewellery design.

In 2018, Eve’s design and prototype was highly commended in a commissioning process to create the trophies presented to winners of the Talamh Smart Agricultural Awards and she was chosen to be a leader in the Young Ambassadors programme at the Homo Faber exhibition in Venice. She was also shortlisted for the 2018/19 Artist in Residence programme at the Centre Culturel Irlandais in Paris. As one of the finalists in the Bench to Business module in conjunction with the Kilkenny Group, Eve will have her jewellery range stocked in the Kilkenny Shop on Nassau Street, Dublin in September 2019.

Eve has secured a full-time position with Stonechat Jewellers in Dublin where she will develop her goldsmithing skills. She will continue to challenge her ability as a designer and maker by submitting private works for exhibitions and competitions.

“I enjoy pushing the metal, stretching its capabilities to create three-dimensional sculptural pieces from flat sheet metal and bar. By using various angles and intersecting planes, and experimenting with different finishes and textures, I can breath life into my jewellery in a contemporary and fresh way.”
