An overview of DCCI's Guilds, Associations, Networks and Societies (GANS) and how GANS can become DCCI membership organisations.
Design & Crafts Council Ireland (DCCI) is a limited company and its shareholders are represented by membership organisations called Guilds, Associations, Networks and Societies (GANS). GANS share DCCI's aims and objectives and are involved in the promotion of contemporary and traditional design and craft.
The engagement of DCCI’s member organisations and its registered clients is instrumental in informing its strategic plans for developing the design and craft sector and in enabling the delivery of many DCCI initiatives across the island of Ireland. As at 31 December, 2021 the total number of GANS was 64.
Membership organisations meet collectively with DCCI several times a year and have voting rights at DCCI's Annual General Meeting. They can also avail of the supports specifically available to them through DCCI.
