Ceramics Ireland
Ceramics Ireland which was established in 1977 is an open and inclusive, voluntary, non-profit organisation. Membership is made up of artists, crafts people, collectors and friends of the society who are primarily based throughout Ireland. It aims to foster creativity, passion and excellence, raising the standard, quality and profile of all ceramic activity in Ireland.
Currently, Ceramics Ireland host workshops, professional practice days, 3 exhibitions annually and a biennial international festival which is held in Kilkenny, on alternate years the society travels to the International Ceramics Festival, Wales. The ‘Ceramics Ireland’ magazine is produced biannually and distributed throughout Ireland, with an increasing international profile. The group’s website provides a useful resource and image bank of members’ work. It also promotes festivals, events, exhibitions, residencies and international opportunities.

Who Can Join:
Membership is open to ceramic practitioners and students, those interested in ceramics but who are not practitioners can join as ‘Friends of Ceramics Ireland’. Application forms and details on cost are available on the Ceramic Ireland website.
