Donegal Designer Makers
Donegal Designer Makers was established in 2009 by members of the Donegal Crafts Guild with the objective of promoting the work of local designers and crafts people across the county. The group has grown rapidly and now has over 20 members, including some of the best-known names in crafts and design who are living and working in the North West. The group organises exhibition and other activities to generate greater awareness of the depth of talent in the county and the quality of innovative work being produced.
Members of the network are working in a variety of mediums including, jewellery, ceramics, weaving, knitwear, furniture and wood, all of superb quality and produced in Co. Donegal. The network has ambitious plans for the promotion of the creative and artistic design work that is produced in the North West.
Activities
Exhibitions, group stands at craft fairs and trade shows.
Who Can Join
Designers and crafts people throughout the county are encouraged to apply for membership of the group.
