Irish Guild of Embroiderers
The Irish Guild of Embroiderers guild was set up for the benefit of everyone interested in learning more about needlework, both traditional and innovative, experimenting with unusual techniques and materials and exhibiting new work. The guild membership is made up of professional practitioners, hobbyist and enthusiasts. Members can attend the monthly meetings and for an additional fee can take part in regular workshops. The membership includes a contribution to the library; members can borrow books from month to month. The guild also organise exhibitions of members' work and newsletters are emailed about three times during the year. The guild is also a regular participant at The Knitting & Stitching Show which is held annually in November at the RDS, Dublin.

Who Can Join
Membership is open to anyone interested in stitching; there are two membership rates, one for Dublin members and one for members who live outside Dublin.
