The Quilters Guild of Ireland
The Quilters Guild of Ireland is a non-profit organisation founded in 2001. The guild was set up to provide education about patchwork, appliqué and quilting to members in Ireland, Northern Ireland and overseas. It invites worldwide membership and aims to support its members through its regional groups, workshops, regular newsletter and website.
The group’s objective is also to promote on-going skills development and exchange of information to members. The guild promotes friendship, understanding and generosity of sharing among all members. A bi-monthly gazette is circulated to members and recognised teachers teach all workshops and clinics. The location of the annual conference is rotated on a three-year cycle to make it accessible to all members – Northern, Southern and the Midlands.
