Take Part in Made Local 2021
Wednesday 02 June 2021
The Fresh exhibition celebrates and promotes emerging talent in contemporary ceramics in the UK. Fresh 2021 will provide a new platform for artists to inspire and challenge. We wish to represent artists coming from a variety of learning experiences – from community workshops to degree programmes, apprenticeships and more.
We invite applications from early career, UK and Ireland based individual practitioners or collaborators who use clay as their primary creative material. Applicants must have been practicing between 3 – 7 years including time in education/learning and be able to show a continued engagement in practice.
25 exhibitors will be selected by a panel of artists, makers, educators and sponsors, and the newly established Fresh Youth Panel. Fresh will be situated in the China Hall on the former Spode factory site as part of the British Ceramics Biennial festival programme of exhibitions, projects, and engagement.
Deadline for application: midnight 16th June 2021
Exhibition location: China Hall, Old Spode works, Kingsway, Stoke-on-Trent, ST4 1JH
Exhibition duration: 11th September – 17th October 2021
