In partnership with Design & Crafts Council Ireland, Limerick School of Art & Design (LSAD), LIT has been named as the Irish host of iAtelier Online, a European funded programme aimed at aiding the adoption and use of ICT tools in craft work.
Coordinated by Crafting Europe, and taking place in eight countries across Europe, the programme is designed to encourage innovative forms of creation that integrate cutting-edge digital fabrication technologies into the practice of craft-making.
iAtelier Online is a funded programme to create a craft/product innovation springboard by providing participants with free training, access to new tools and opportunities to network with designers, craftspeople and experts from across Ireland and Europe.
Applications are now being sought for 20 participants from a Digital Design and/or Traditional Craft background to take part in ‘iAtelier Online’ at LSAD, LIT this April.
