Kinsale Pottery have launched a new training programme for pottery and how to run your own craft business. This 5-month programme, starting in October, will teach skills and give people the confidence needed to teach crafts and to set up their own businesses.

This is a one-of-a kind course for those looking to gain independence and capitalise on their artistic talents or make a life change. You will receive expert tutoring and mentoring in the areas of ceramics and business.
The course combines making, teaching and business development skills training, and includes work experience.
This course is based on 72 hours of face-to-face tuition spread out over five months plus opportunities to practice your techniques through work experience and studio time. The objective is to bring participants to a point where they are able to run their own pottery/craft businesses based on making and/or teaching.
