Craft - Jewellery - Fashion & Accessories - Home & Gift - Wellness

Despite international travel restrictions and local social distancing regulations Showcase Ireland, in special partnership with DCCI, Enterprise Ireland and our Local Enterprise offices, is determined to provide a platform for business to take place in January 2021.

With this in mind, Showcase Ireland will host its first Showcase Virtual Showrooms from Monday 25th to Friday 29th January, 2021 from 9am to 7pm each day.

The schedule offers the potential for 6,000 one-to-one virtual meetings over 5 days, in line with the international buying calendar.

The Showcase Virtual Showrooms will allow you to present your brand and products virtually, to key International and Irish buyers in 1 to 1 scheduled meetings. Enterprise Ireland has commenced marketing the showrooms with buyers in key international markets. With Showcase Ireland and DCCI promoting the opportunity in the home market.

The event will be supported through an innovative media campaign in the coming months and all exhibitors will benefit from a Virtual Selling Masterclass online. Registered exhibitors and buyers will also receive a comprehensive report on The Future of eCommerce.

How will it work?

Showcase Virtual Showrooms are working with B2Match, specialists in virtual event solutions. The B2Match platform will allow us to profile and present Irish companies to a targeted group of Irish and international buyers under the Showcase Ireland banner.

Buyers will be able to see all exhibitors, view images of their products and will be able to search by keywords for specific products e.g. ceramics, knitwear, hand-made, jewellery etc. The platform enables buyers to request virtual 1-1 meetings with exhibitors. Meetings will take place using video conferencing tools embedded in the B2Match platform.

Exhibitors will register first and then complete a profile template on B2Match, outlining their company details, contact information and available products. Additionally nine product images can be uploaded to strengthen profiles and attract buyer interest.

Once all companies are registered and their profiles uploaded, buyers will be invited to register.

Buyers will complete a buyer profile outlining their company details, contact information and areas of buying they are specifically interested in at Showcase.

Buyers can search and filter the profiles of exhibitors,  to identify the companies they are interested in and send a meeting request. On accepting a meeting request the buyer will be offered mutually available timeslots, and then book the meeting. Meetings can be rescheduled if necessary.

Buyers and Exhibitors can see their schedule by clicking on Meetings and Agenda in the platform’s navigation panel. Showcase Ireland, DCCI and Enterprise Ireland will actively promote the Virtual Showrooms across relevant buying related platforms, directly encouraging key buyers to register and set up appointments in good time.

Enterprise Ireland, DCCI and the Local Enterprise Offices have all been allocated a portion of the exhibitor slots, there are 120 in total.
