*Young Craft Booster (associated with Homo Faber Fellowship programme by Michelangelo Foundation)
The Young Craft Booster is a yearly 7-month sponsored professional integration programme designed for duos of master artisans and craft graduates.
Participants will develop business and marketing knowledge, as well as design and hands-on practical skills through transmission from one generation to the next.
The EU Young Craft Booster Programme is presented by Design & Crafts Council Ireland, powered by the Young Craft Booster and co-funded by European Union.
Three Irish duos have been selected to participate in the second edition of the Young Craft Booster, representing three disciplines: lace making, stone carving, and blacksmithing.
Meet new Irish duos
The Homo Faber Fellowship aims not only to help an emerging artisan take the first steps towards a career in craft and ensure the future of a master artisan’s workshop, but also to have a lasting impact on the futures of different crafts.
