Georgia Makes Shapes

Georgia is a Textile artist from Dublin (B.A. NCAD Textile Design) who specialises in dyeing, creating and upcycling fabric in a way which minimises environmental impact. She is especially interested in the intersectionality of art, craft and design. After spending time focusing on acquiring technical skills and exploring materials, she is now developing a body of work for exhibition exploring these techniques such as sashiko, knitting, patchwork, spinning and embroidery, as well as developing more experimental areas, such as eco-printing.
