The Repair Relay: Mending in Motion is a playful, collaborative event where creativity meets sustainability.
Across a full day, participants take turns repairing, patching, or embellishing garments – picking up where the last person left off. Each contribution adds a new layer of story, texture, and design, transforming neglected clothes into unique, shared creations.
Open to all ages and abilities, this drop-in workshop celebrates the art of repair as a joyful, social act. Facilitators guide you through simple stitching techniques, decorative flourishes, and inventive ways to bring worn items back to life. You can work on garments provided or bring your own.
By day’s end, we’ll display the finished, one-of-a-kind collaborative pieces – living proof that design can connect us, stitch by stitch. Whether you’re a seasoned maker or have never picked up a needle, The Repair Relay invites you to join the flow, leave your mark, and pass it on.
