SQUUSHED is a celebration of the power of combining the unexpected, the joy of seeing new and exciting connections emerge, and, most importantly, embracing the adventure of creation.
Amanda Durkan of SQUUSHED creates handmade items in her Kildare-based studio and run craft workshops in bookbinding, leathercraft, lampshade making and keepsake box making.
Full-day workshops run from 10 am to 5 pm. Half-day workshops run from 10 am to 1 pm, and from 2 pm to 5 pm.
Workshop Details:
- Bookbinding: Make your very own journal from scratch using our beautiful decorated papers. Perfect for capturing your musings, drawings, or ideas
- Lampshade making: make your very own lampshade from scratch using our beautiful decorated papers. Bring a touch of handmade glamour to any room
- Keepsake box making: create your very own keepsake box from scratch using our beautiful decorated papers. Store those treasured memories, knick-knacks, or doo-dads.
- Leathercraft: create a pet collar, no-sew box, passport holder, glasses case, or small tooled item from scratch using vegetable tanned leather.
- All materials and tools are supplied
Workshops are suitable for:
- Beginners looking to try the craft for the first time
- Improvers who have tried the craft before and want to brush up on their skills or try a new aspect of the craft
- Intermediates who are very familiar with the craft and want to have a fun day out
