Where do you get your inspiration?
I get my inspiration from my surroundings of the island I live on. From the stormy seas in the winter to the colourful seaweed on the shore
What made you choose your discipline?
I took.a tapestry course and after a bit, I wanted to make something i could wear, so I researched weaving on rigid heddle looms
Is sustainability an important aspect of your business?
Yes it is. I work mostly with wool and natural fibres, unless requested. I teach weaving classes to children and we use recycled materials in their pieces.
What’s the most challenging part of your craft?
Having enough time in the day. I try and structure my day to get important work that needs to be done, like admin work and emails.
