Design & Crafts Council Ireland (DCCI) is delighted to announce the finalists for Future Makers 2026. Celebrating the next generation of creative talent, this year’s finalists showcase exceptional skill, innovation and ambition across Ireland’s vibrant design and craft community.
Future Makers is a DCCI programme dedicated to supporting the next generation of designers and makers as they develop their creative practice and careers. Through a competitive application and selection process, emerging talent from across Ireland is recognised for the quality, originality and potential of their work, with finalists progressing through the programme for the opportunity to receive awards and supports that can help advance their professional development.

Established in 2009, Future Makers is one of the largest prize-funded award programmes in Europe, creating a platform to showcase talent, as well as providing much needed financial support. Divided into student and emerging practitioner categories, we support this crucial time in the career path of young designers.
