2023 Winners
This year’s competition saw an impressive range of entries from all around Ireland, with each one demonstrating a unique approach to creating beautiful and functional works of art. From furniture and fashion design to ceramics and glassblowing, the shortlisted makers have proven their mastery of their chosen crafts, as well as their ability to push the boundaries of tradition and innovation.
The platform provided by the Future Makers Awards has been instrumental in projecting Irish craft forward and it's such a privilege to have my work acknowledged alongside so many amazing craftspeople. As well as this, the award funds will allow me to buy a generator to run a larger kiln in my rural Roscommon studio.
