Irish Design Week - 3rd Party Events
Terms & Conditions
General Conditions
- Events must take place in Ireland.
- Events should take place during Irish Design Week (7th-14th November 2026), but may also begin before or continue after these dates if appropriate.
- Closing date for submissions is 12th September 5pm GMT.
- Awards are offered subject to the availability of funding.
- Funding cannot be granted retrospectively for projects that have already taken place.
- Funding cannot be allocated for capital expenditure or fixed assets such as equipment.
- All liabilities incurred due to commercial risk and/or under performance in terms of projected revenue of a proposal in receipt of funding from DCCI are the applicants’ sole responsibility.
- Funding must be used for the project as outlined in the application and in the year 2025. Failure to utilise funding as outlined in the proposal will be deemed a breach of agreed terms and conditions and may necessitate repayment of any and all allocated funds to DCCI.
- Successful applicants agree to complete their proposed project within the agreed timeline and provide a report of the activity measuring the success of the objectives.
- DCCI reserves the right to withdraw or redistribute funding in the event that applications received are not of sufficient quality. All decisions concerning applications are final.
- DCCI will not be able to provide individual feedback on any applications received.
Payment Conditions:
- Recipients of funding will be required to complete a new supplier form and provide bank details to receive funding. Supplier details and bank details must match.
- Initial funding payment of 50% is dependent on receipt of a minimum one high- quality image provided in advance of the event to help us promote your event.
- Final payment of 50% is dependent on receipt of minimum three high-resolution images of the event itself, completion of an online form providing an evaluation of the event to include attendance numbers and audience reached, as well as accompanying receipts to match budget breakdown.
Content Usage and Promotion:
- When promoting an event, organisers must include Irish Design Week 2025 branding and social assets, which will be provided by IDW/DCCI, in all promotional materials.
- Content submitted may be used to promote Irish Design Week on IDW and DCCI channels.
- Organisers agree to be part of the PR campaign and accept that their events may be pitched to media. If media interviews are secured, IDW/DCCI may call on a spokesperson to represent your event.
- Organisers accept that they may be contacted by a project manager or contractor working on behalf of the DCCI.
