Maruta O'Donnell

Im Maruta O’Donnell, originally from Latvia , but living and working in Kilkenny, Ireland, nearly for twenty years. Im married to a very nice Irishman. My artistic statement is a reflection of my passion for flowers, creativity and my journey of self-discovery. With 30 years of experience in the flower business and 20 years in Kilkenny, I have honed my skills in creating stunning wedding flower arrangements and event displays. However, my lifelong love for painting and drawing has always been a constant in my life, and it was this that led me to study tapestry at Grennan Mill Craft School. Tapestry has given me the opportunity to merge my love for flowers, my skills in painting and sketching, and my newfound passion for weaving.
