Effectiveness and accountability
2022 was a busy year for DCCI. We worked with our 3,461 registered Client Enterprises and 64 Guilds, Associations, Networks & Societies (GANS) as well as over 10 Government and Regulatory Bodies to grow Irish design and craft.
Many of our old favourites ran again this year with brilliant engagement from clients and the public
- 265 Events ran during August Craft Month
- €25,000 Total prize fund for DCCI’s Future Makers Awards & Supports 2021 programme —the largest prize fund for craft and design students and emerging makers in Europe
- 44 sustainable businesses entered the DCCI Irish Business Design Challenge
The Home of Design and Craft in Ireland
The DCCI Gallery in Kilkenny had a successful year, with its exhibitions showcasing the best of Ireland’s designers and makers to over 30,000 visitors.
