As a designer and maker of contemporary jewellery, I’m interested in desire, both my desire to create and the choices my customer may make. This creates an unconscious dynamic, between the maker and wearer. I love to design jewellery that stimulates the imagination. Unusual angles, rings that are asymmetric and earrings that are inverted. I wonder about my inner world and the designs that pop up in my consciousness, demanding to be created into a piece of jewellery! There are now 4 collections. The curious organic silver shapes in last two collections have been created by a unique technique I developed while exploring loss of control during the pandemic. Fine streams of wax were poured into water and the shapes chosen were refined and cast into silver.
