Venice Design Week (VDW) encompasses many events that take place in Venice in October. Venice Design Week works with Museums and many institutions in town to coordinate the week of design in Venice.
 

Designers and companies from all over the world are invited to take part in exhibitions, contets, and special events. Visitors to the Venice Design Week can visit exhibitions of contemporary design and at the same time explore the hidden side of Venice, discovering how ancient objects were designed and decorated. The VDW team organizes unique visits both inside and outside museums.
