About DCCI Academy

DCCI Academy (DCCIA) provides education, training and apprenticeships for the craft and design community in Ireland and internationally.

I learned a lot and enjoyed making new connections with other makers. Sometimes it can be difficult to meet other makers, especially ones from other disciplines.

Looking to the future

Our training and education is built on 50 years of experience but it also looks to the future with an emphasis on new technologies, the circular economy and national and international partnerships.

We work with higher educational institutions and accreditation bodies including ATU and Tangent at Trinity College to provide courses of excellence, with innovation and entrepreneurship at their core.

Thomastown Jewellery School

Our new state of the art Jewellery school in Thomastown is set up to train the next generation of silver and goldsmiths.

We are excited to welcome the first cohort of Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Jewellery and Goldsmithing students to Thomastown in September 2024. The students will be based in Thomastown for three years, following the ATU academic calendar.

We have a wide range of courses available for students and professional designers & makers
