Margaret Rattigan is an Irish artist and maker based in Boyle, County Roscommon. She creates distinctive art jewellery by selecting small details from her original paintings and transforming them into miniature prints set beneath crystal glass cabochons to form unique earrings and pendants. Each piece is slightly different, making every item a wearable piece of art. Margaret is a self-taught artist whose work is inspired by the landscapes, wildlife and quiet beauty of the Irish countryside where she grew up on a farm in County Leitrim. Alongside her jewellery, she also produces original paintings and limited edition art prints using her expressive and colourful style.
