Crafts of Ireland is a family run business based on a 6th generation farm in Co Cavan. Using the wool from their own flock of Irish rare breed Roscommon sheep is a priority for owner, Sandra Coote and her family. The wool from their sheep is used to create sustainable Irish needle felting kits and in their needle felting and wool spinning workshops. This wool is also used to manufacture the only 100% Irish wool felt that they manufacture on a machine that was imported from the US, this felt forms the background for the unique needle felted pictures created by Sandra. Being a sustainable business remains a priority in everything they offer including the design and furnishing of their craft studio and tearooms to the homemade food that accompanies all their workshops
