Stone Mad Music by Darren Rogers

I am an award‑winning multidisciplinary artist working primarily in music and sculpture. A few years ago, I began exploring a question: Can I unite these two disciplines into single artworks? Essentially combining stone sculpture with a series of tuned musical bars to create interactive musical sculptures. My vision is that each piece can be appreciated both for its visual aesthetic and also act as a professional musical instrument. My work is made to order for the most part. The design possibilities are endless. What can a sculpture be? My vision with each new work is to break artistic boundaries and create something that is completely unique—an artwork that will be loved, appreciated, and bring joy to all who encounter and interact with it.
