Bláithín Bláithín

Here at Bláithín (little flower), Gillian creates unique, handmade gifts, using the slow craft of punch needle embroidery. After falling in love with this craft a few years ago, she loves designing pieces inspired by nature, the Irish language, whimsy and folk art. Each piece is handmade loop by loop using the slow process of punch needle embroidery which is centuries old, having made a resurgence in recent years. It is a tactile textile art - perfect for creating cosy, touchable art. Gillian also designs, illustrates and prints eco-friendly greeting cards. Printed on beautiful "corn-crush" card - manufactured using the by products of corn on the cob production.
