Yelo Studio
I am a designer based in my home studio in Leitrim called Yelo Studio. After nearly twenty years as a graphic designer, I returned to hands-on making to build a sustainable creative livelyhood rooted in craft, colour, and storytelling. My bold, gallery worthy pieces are inspired by patterns found in ancient Irish stone carvings reimagined in colourful modern polymer material, as wearable pieces of jewellery art. Each piece is designed and made in my home studio by the River Shannon, combining traditional print carving and mold-making thinkings with hand make baked clay.
