Lettering artist Vanessa Power’s love for typography and stained glass has inspired her to craft a captivating collection of letters that showcase the timeless beauty of stained glass.

After honing her skills in stained glass techniques at NCAD several years ago, Vanessa is now eager to share this craft with others through her Design Week workshop, “Letters in Light.”

In this workshop, participants will learn the fundamentals of glass cutting and grinding, followed by the Tiffany copper foiling technique to solder their chosen letter together. Each piece will be finished with hanging fixtures, allowing the letters to be displayed in windows, where light can shine through, illuminating the space. These personalised creations make for perfect gifts or cherished keepsakes.
