Adelle Hickey

Adelle Hickey is a designer, maker and printmaker. Her research work in Design History and Material Culture has inspired this hand printed collection of cards, Irish linen, notebooks and prints. ’Hearts of Ireland’ is a unique collection of hand- made and hand printed cards and prints. Using rich and vivid colours, this series of hand carved prints embrace Irish heritage in a fresh and contemporary way. This collection of hand carved designs for greeting cards and prints, bring together a visual expression of all that is authentically Irish. Home from Home is a capsule collection of hand printed Irish linen. Our natural landscape and traditional objects used in homes throughout Ireland during the 19th century have inspired the narrative for this series of hand carved designs.
