Nara Taylor is a milliner based in Smithfield, Dublin. She creates hats and headpieces crafted with care, attention to detail, and lots of style! Nara studied millinery in 2021 at Kensington and Chelsea college London, on their highly respected HNC course, and is now prouding producing hats through her own millinery brand, Hats by Nara. In 2021 Nara Taylor won a prize for design from the prestigious ‘Worshipful Company of Feltmakers’ Awards. She has worked for several acclaimed milliners such as Lara Jensen, Vivienne Lake and Edwina Ibbotson, and has sold her headpieces in Fenwicks Department Store in London. As well as making couture headpieces, Nara has a passion for theatrical millinery. Before the events of 2020 Nara was a professional cabaret singer. This experience means she really understands how it feels to wear a hat on stage, and what is needed to make a hat both wearable for the performer, as well as what will look good on stage.
