Sara Roberts studied Graphic Design at the National College of Art and Design, Dublin, from 1980-84 and graduated with a degree in Visual Communications. She worked in London, Australia and Ireland as a designer until 2000 when Sara transitioned into ceramics, completing a City & Guilds course before receiving a bursary to study at Coláiste Stiofáin Naofa, Cork. She consequently set up her own studio and has been working in clay since and frequently exhibiting, both in Ireland and abroad.
