Tanya Creed is a Ceramic Artist based in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary with a degree in Ceramic design completed In Crawford College of Art and Design in 2010. Working with clay, especially porcelain has always been Tanyas' favourite medium, although she still loves to paint and draw when she gets the opportunity. The majority of work produced at Tanya Creed Designs is slab built or slipcast porcelain, high fired and occasionally adorned in 9ct gold lustres. This work is inspired by a love for nature and in particular the Sea. When the Covid pandemic started in early 2020, Tanya was inspired to make work that connected people all around the world, by giving the gift of home, in a time when we could barely leave our homes. The Map pieces or Éire mo Chroí are our most popular products.
