Tamaru Hunt-Joshi (Turnstone Ceramics) is a ceramic artist whose work is inspired by nature and the ecology of Ireland. She uses mainly raku ceramics (smoke fired technique) to make sculptural forms and wall pieces that explore her long interest in ecology and the natural world. Tamaru’s aim is to bring into focus the birds and animals that make up her local biodiversity as well as highlighting the predicament of endangered species globally.
