DCCI Made Local Irish Craft Village
DCCI Made Local Irish Craft Village will be back at Bord Bia Bloom 2025.
The DCCI Made Local Irish Craft Village is always a popular feature at Bloom, showcasing talented craftspeople and Made Local products from a range of disciplines and all parts of the country. This year, members from DCCI’s GANS (Guilds, associations, networks and societies) will be demonstrating a wide range of traditional craft techniques. These organisations play a pivotal role in DCCI’s activities and supports in Ireland. Kicking off at 11 a.m. every day during Bord Bia Bloom, the central tent in the DCCI Irish Craft Village will feature skilled practitioners across a range of disciplines and crafts, from metal-forging to mosaic-making. This is a wonderful opportunity to explore Ireland’s heritage and contemporary crafts, connect with a rich network of talented craftspeople and bring home some new skills.

Bloom provides us with a great opportunity to bring our art and craft to members of the public, to pass on our skills and to encourage engagement with the fun and creativity of patchwork and quilting.
