Join us as we explore how artificial intelligence is not just transforming creative workflows, but unlocking new creative possibilities.

Featuring three global leaders from technology, advertising and engineering, this session will explore how AI is powering creativity in everyday real-world scenarios.

From Microsoft’s leadership in creating enterprise compliant AI, to bold creative campaigns at adam&eveDDB, to the innovative new tools being built at Tabpsace AI, this is a rare opportunity to hear from people who are shaping how AI scales in the real world.

2pm – 3:30pm
Panel discussion followed by Q&A

The panel of speakers include:

Chaired by:

  • Dermot O’Shea (Digital Architect – dkos)

The event chair, Dermot O’Shea, added…

“Across my career I’ve worked at the intersection of strategy, design, and technology. Right now AI represents one of the most powerful yet misunderstood, and dare I say it ‘feared’ shifts, in how we create, build & innovate.

That’s why this panel matters, because we’re not just talking theory. We’re joined by three individuals who are using AI in very real but yet very different ways. From building products for millions of users, to driving responsible innovation at scale, to reimagining creative boundaries in advertising.

Join us as we discuss how AI is really unleashing creativity, not replacing it.”

Mark Shanley - Profile Pic

Drake once complained about not being in one of Mark’s ads. Stevie Knicks defended another one of them against its critics. His ads have been the answer to a question on Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway and become posters on children’s bedroom walls.

When The Sun called another one of his ads the most stomach-turning ad in television history Mark was just glad to have been considered part of television history. In a twenty year career Mark Shanley’s work has been awarded, celebrated, satirised, parodied, referenced, copied, memed and banned. But it has never, he hopes, been boring.

He started his career in his native Dublin at DDFH&B/JWT before moving to London to work at Wieden+Kennedy where he spent seven years, much of that time as creative director on their Nike business. While there he was creative director on the cultural phenomenon Nothing Beats a Londoner.

Mark Joined adam&eveDDB in 2020 as a creative director where he has been behind award winning campaigns for the V&A Museum, Pot Noodle, Puma and Amazon. Now as Executive Creative Director at adam&eve in London (though Mark is now based in Dublin again) he likes to make provocative work that makes people feel something. He puts this into practice for a diverse range of brands every day at adam&eve.

Mark brings a unique vantage point to this panel: a storyteller at heart who’s always probing how emerging technologies can expand—not replace—the human spark at the heart of creativity. He used AI to write the sentence before this one.
