The DCCI Academy Jewellery & Goldsmithing, is a state-of-the-art facility equipped with professional benches, precision tools, and advanced equipment.

It is designed to support goldsmiths and jewellery makers at every stage of their journey. The academy’s mission is to sustain Ireland’s rich heritage of jewellery and goldsmithing while fostering innovation and excellence.

The DCCI Academy Jewellery & Goldsmithingg, based in Thomastown, offers an inspiring programme of short courses open to all — from complete beginners to practising makers looking to deepen their skills. This year’s line‑up brings an exceptional group of nationally and internationally recognised tutors to the Academy, giving learners rare access to specialist techniques and master‑level expertise.

Courses include Micro Pavé and Castelle Setting with David Wilson; a suite of metal‑forming intensives — Forging, Foldforming, Sinking and Raising a Bowl, and Introduction to Anticlastic Raising — with renowned silversmith Seamus Gill; Chasing & Repoussé with master craftsman Aidan Breen; Introduction to Wax Carving with Eimear Vize; Enamelling for Small Batch Production with Jane Moore; Introduction to Keum‑Bo and Mitsuro Hikime Wax Modelling with acclaimed artist Sandra Wilson; and Granulation with Linda Lewin.
