Design & Crafts Council Ireland (DCCI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mary Blanchfield as interim CEO. Mary will take over the helm of the agency from Rosemary Steen who has moved to the Residential Tenancies Board after four and a half successful years at the Council.
About Mary:
Mary joined DCCI over 26 years ago and for the last ten years has served as the Head of Operations and Company Secretary. Mary will be stepping into the CEO role from 31st August 2024. With a deep appreciation for Ireland’s rich design and crafts heritage, many years on the executive team of DCCI and a critical role in the progression of the agency and its key initiatives, Mary brings a wealth of sectoral experience to lead the organisation forward. We are confident that under Mary’s leadership, our organisation will continue to thrive and support the talented designers and craftspeople across the country

I am delighted to be taking on the role of interim CEO at DCCI and thank Rosemary Steen for her leadership and commitment over the last five years.
