Showcase - Ireland’s International Creative Expo®

Showcase takes place in the RDS each January and attracts over 5,000 trade buyers from all over Ireland and 26 countries around the world. DCCI highly recommends this show for all craft enterprises wishing to wholesale their products to the domestic market. www.showcaseireland.com

Design Ireland at Showcase

DCCI presents the best of Irish craft that is designed and made in Ireland to retailers from Ireland and abroad at Design Ireland. Makers are selected for this programme from a wide field and need to demonstrate a high level of skill in design and making, new product development, merchandising and selling, and marketing and branding. 

The Enterprise Zone at Showcase

The County and City Enterprise Boards in association with Showcase offer newer businesses the opportunity to participate at Showcase in the Enterprise Zone, a dedicated area at the show. For more details see www.showcaseireland.com/visit/enterprise-zone.

DesignIreland.ie

Design Ireland is a brand dedicated to promoting the breadth and quality of Irish design and craft to global and Irish audiences. The Design Ireland identity is featured on DCCI exhibitions at trade shows, in-store point-of sale material and promotional campaigns. The accompanying website www.designireland.ie discovers and shares ideas, inspiration and information on talented Irish designers and where to buy their work either online or in listed shops. Selling at craft fairs can provide a valuable market close to home for many makers. National Crafts & Design Fair

With around 20,000 visitors, the National Crafts & Design Fair is a must in craft-lovers’ diaries. Stand bookings are made directly with the fair organisers. During the show, we use our designated umbrella brand ‘Designed & Made in Ireland’ with its recognisable thumbprint symbol to highlight those craftspeople who have reached DCCI’s standards for quality, provenance and craftsmanship. We also curate a display of Irish craft gift suggestions in the Main Hall. Callout for participation in this display area takes place in August/September, see our Opportunities page for more details when applicable. www.nationalcraftsfair.ie

Bloom

Bloom is Ireland’s largest gardening, food and family event, attracting over 100,000 visitors each June bank holiday weekend. DCCI presents an Irish craft village at the event which includes 25 retail spaces for craftspeople. There may also be the opportunity to participate in workshops and demonstrations.
