QQI Level 6 Train The Trainer

This 3-day QQI Level 6 Train The Trainer course is designed to enhance learners’ skills and prepare them to deliver training sessions in a dynamic and thought-provoking manner. This course covers key aspects such as the nature of training, presentation and training skills improvement, the trainer’s role, individual learning styles, and best practice methods for evaluating training sessions. Topic 1: The Learning Process & Identifying Training Needs

This course covers the 4 Stages of Learning, Adult Learning Principles, and Identifying Learning Styles to help trainers create engaging and impactful sessions. You’ll also develop skills in Training Needs Analysis (TNA) by exploring the Systematic Training Cycle and learning how to gather and analyse training needs effectively.

Topic 2: Training Objectives & Methods

Learn how to set clear training objectives and explore various training methods to suit different learning styles. This section also focuses on building confidence in delivering training using different approaches to maximise learner engagement.

Topic 3: Training Design & Delivery

Discover how to structure effective training sessions, from creating lesson plans to using PowerPoint effectively. Gain skills in writing impactful opening and closing sessions, engaging diverse audiences, and managing difficult delegates. Learn to overcome nervousness, project confidence, and deliver training with enthusiasm.

Topic 4: Evaluation of Training

Understand how to measure training effectiveness using Kirkpatrick’s 4 Levels of Evaluation. Learn to design evaluation forms, analyse results, and create structured evaluation plans to assess learner progress and improve future training sessions.
