AMOC Jewellery is a small artisan goldsmithing atelier in Co. Wicklow run by Mette O'Connor a Danish goldsmith living in Ireland for over 20 years. Mette is renowned for her unique natural designs inspired by her surroundings. Her attention to detail and sense of aesthetics shines through in her work with many pieces being one-off and unique to the wearer. Her jewellery is handcrafted by her small team of skilled goldsmiths in the atelier in Greystones using only precious metals and natural gemstones. Mette is passionate about keeping the traditional craft of goldsmithing alive and is committed to reusing, repurposing, recycling and re-imagining new pieces of jewellery from heirlooms as well as creating new jewellery from sustainable materials. Recently Mette became the first licensed goldsmith in Ireland to craft and trade in Fairmined gold. This is a significant step towards enhancing the sustainable and ethical direction of her work.
