Ayelet Lalor is an award-winning Dublin based figurative artist. Born in 1974, she studied at Grennan Mills Craft School, Glasgow School of Art, and NCAD, graduating with a BA (1996), and MA(2009). With her roots in West Cork, Ayelet grew up in a diverse and artistic community, and feels it has shaped her work greatly. The form of the strong independent woman have been at the core of her figurative work for decades, often depicted as a Goddess, a Diva or similar proud figure, aloof, serene and calm, combined with strong decorative aspects of texture and colour.
