Billy Moore Metal Works

Based in his studio and workshop, near the heritage town of Lismore, Co. Waterford, Billy Moore creates unique Functional Objects of art, sculpture, furniture and lighting. From old forging techniques to sometimes incorporating a more modern mechanised approach. Billy begins each object drawing inspiration directly from his surroundings on the family farm outside the quiet village of Ballysaggart overlooking Lismore. Mainly working in steel, the aim is always to create simple, clean forms. These, more often than falset, take their aesthetic from old Irish farm implements, vintage machinery and elements from Ireland’s industrial past.
