Claire Keane Studio
I am a local Clonakilty artist and maker with a background in fine art. Also a secondary school art teacher, I started Claire Keane Studio while craving a creative outlet of my own, and found it in porcelain. From my studio here in West Cork, I create handmade porcelain jewellery shaped, painted, glazed, and fired by hand. Pieces are finished with 24 carat gold lustre, fired directly onto the porcelain to give a warm, lasting shimmer. I am drawn to colour, playful and surprising pairings and organic forms that sit somewhere between nature and pattern. The result is jewellery that feels expressive and personal — not just jewellery, but wearable art.
