Deirdre O’Reilly is a visual artist specialising in Ceramics. She has exhibited at The RUA Annual at The Royal Ulster Museum, Belfast in both 2024 and 2023 and was a recipient of the Irish Ceramics Award in 2022. In 2021, she received an Agility Award from The Arts Council of Ireland and earned a Distinction for a large outdoor work at Sculpture in Context in The National Botanic Gardens, which also won the Public Vote Award for “The Most Popular Outdoor Sculpture.” Her work has been featured in multiple public art commissions in collaboration with landscape architects and schools, and she is included in the latest edition of Irish Ceramics. A graduate of The National College of Art and Design (1994). She works as a Ceramics tutor at NCAD CEAD. Deirdre lives and works in Dublin.
