Maggie Napier is a flamework glass artist, jewellery designer and workshop facilitator. She established Glassistudio in Co. Down in 2011 and has welcomed students from all over Ireland and abroad for her flamework workshops which are suitable for all skill levels. Working with hot glass in a torch flame she has developed a unique ever evolving collection of contemporary, sculptural glass jewellery. Each piece of wearable glass art is handmade in the flame in small batch production and one of a kind pieces, available to buy from her website, studio and a small selection of local stockists. She regularly collaborates with the Ulster Museum producing limited edition pieces inspired by their exhibitions.
