My art practice is varied and includes Sculpture, Photography and painting. My sculpture work is divided into two main areas- Public commissions and gallery pieces. Each public work is designed specifically for its intended site, and draws its inspiration from the social, cultural or historical factors of the wider site area.. I use a wide range of materials- Steel, Bronze, Glass, Stone and lighting .Galley works also include forged elements native hardwoods etc. Many of my commissioned works included a community involvement/social engagement,( where they contribute in part to the overall finished installation of the proposed installation )-including working with schools, youth groups, children with special needs, and adult groups.
