I am a visual artist and ceramicist based in north Co. Cork. I hold a BA Honours Degree in Fine art from Sligo IT, and I am a graduate from the renowned Design and Crafts Council of Ireland Ceramics Skills and Design program based in Thomastown, Kilkenny, accredited by Maynooth University (2020). I strive to make pots that convey a sense of calm and comfort. Living and working in rural Ireland, the quietness and muted colour palette of the Irish landscape is a constant reference that feeds into my work. An exploration of form and colour are an ongoing interest in my practice, informed by my background as a painter. Attention to detail and quality of craftsmanship are my main concerns when designing and making, alongside creating pieces that are elegant, comfortable, and will invite you to use them time and time again.
