My work centres around the changing landscape of Dublin city. I am fascinated by derelict spaces and buildings and feel a need to record and study them. My degree collection involved the gathering of images of fading shop fronts in the city around me. As an artist I hope to convey a sense of dream like nostalgia towards family, city and heritage. As a designer, I hope my work can incite a sense of urgency around preserving our history and story.
