Born in Limerick city, I studied Jewellery and Art Metal Work in St. Johns Central College, Cork. I then went on to study Sculpture in Limerick School of Art and Design focusing in areas of found objects and casting. Realising my love for metalwork, I took up a night course in jewellery design in NCAD which lead me to apply for a place in the DCCI's Jewellery Skills Course in Kilkenny. I became a student in the Jewellery Skills and Design course in 2019 where I honed my skills as a goldsmith. After graduating I worked in a busy contemporary high street jewellers in Dublin. After 2 years there, I felt the call for a slower pace and returned to the West of Ireland where I live today. I design and hand make my jewellery from my studio on the side of a mountain in Ballina, Co. Tipperary.
